Whangarei Youth Music is a self funding, family orientated organisation created in 1980 to provide opportunities for the young people of Whangarei to develop their musical skills and to experience the passion of playing together.
As well as running a variety of tuition classes, WYM has six performing groups which cater for all ages and levels of expertise.
Our organisation is run by dedicated volunteers who manage and organise for our groups to achieve excellence in public events and concerts in New Zealand and overseas.
We invite you to participate in WYM. Come along to our rehearsals on Friday afternoon from 4.00pm at Kamo High School, Wilkinson Ave. Kamo and see how you to can increase your love of music.
